How Cast Iron Cookware Produced?

 

Cast Iron Cookware are very popular among European and North American countries. People there use them cook for their family and friends every day, and take them as an intimate kitchen helper. When ask how to produce the cookware, most maybe not know clearly. Now we share the product process and answer your doubts.

 

1, Sand Mold

 

Cast iron cookware is made through casting process, so it needs mold first. We will make steel mold according the design drawings or samples. Then make a sand mold on the steel mold with sand.

2, Melting Iron

 

--We put the raw material- bread-iron to a big melting. The temperature will be reach 1700℃, under such high temperature, the iron will be melted to iron water. If interested, we could send video for checking.

3, Castings

 

Put the hot iron water into sand mold, like below image. When well, needs 1-3 hours to cooling forming, and then de-sanding and choose the rough foundry castings.

4, Polishing

 

Firstly polished the castings via workers to remove the obvious rough edges, then put them in ball blasting machine for re-polishing. The surface and edges will be smooth and delicate. Then move the well polished castings to baking line.

5, Coating and Baking

 

--For coating, there are vegetable oil coating, matt-black enamel coating and color enamel coating. We can produce OEM color as Pantone card number.

If you prefer vegetable oil coating, we will move the castings to vegetable oil baking line. And coated with vegetable oil like bean oil, sunflower oil, linseed oil,etc. They are all vegetable oil, without chemical content.

If you prefer enamel coating, we will move the castings to enamel baking line, for 3 times enamel coating and 3 times baking with high temperature.

We have 3 enamel baking lines and 3 vegetable oil baking lines. 300,000pcs capacity per month. It can to guarantee not delay for delivery time.

6, Packing

When the cookware well baked and cool down, we will move it to our package department.

Before package, we will firstly package a carton and take photos and videos to our customers, and when they confirmed, we will package as request accordingly.
