How to Choose Enamel Cast Iron Pot?

In every family, there are at least 1 cast iron cookware in their kitchen in European and North American countries. They are very hot and popular among people. Enamel cast iron pot are more famous for their elegant surface, good taste of food and suitable for all stoves.

Below we will share something about how to choose enamel cast iron pot.

1, From whole surface way to choose.

When we choose a enamel pot, we will first see the color, like single color red, blue, black, purple,etc. For this, you can choose the one(s) you prefer. If for Gradient color, there may have gradient uneven pot, so when choose, pay attention for this( Below image, the pot color is light than the lid).

2, Check the Knob.

For knob, there are bakelite knob, silver SS knob, golden SS knob, and casting knob for choice.

You can choose the one you like.

3, Check the lid

First check the color, inner and outer coating.

Choose the one that color elegant, inner coating smooth. If there have the problem like scratches, wear marks, lack of material, leave it off.

4, Check the Pot

Same as the Lid. If there have trachoma, or orange peel, it is a normal phenomenon, not a quality problem.

Another thing should be attention, put the pot on plate place, and touch the handles to check whether the bottom flat or not. Choose the flat one.

5, Check the lid and pot sealing.

When buy cast iron pot, put the lid on the pot, and then touch the lid and hear whether have sound or not. If the sound is louder, choose the smaller sound or no sound pot. This sealing is very good when you cooking.
